For the first time in Sydney, the Australian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS) joins Convenience & Impulse Retailing magazine to present a world-class learning and networking experience. C&I Media welcomes convenience and impulse retailers across all banners and brands to the event.
Speakers at the AACS Convenience Leaders Summit include James Lowman (CEO, ACS UK). As CEO of the convenience association in the UK representing more than 40,000 stores, Mr Lowman will cover C-store developments and trends in the UK, a very successful and strong performing convenience market.
Brooke Miller, VP Sales & Marketing BP Australia and leader of the company’s retail business, will provide some very interesting insights in relation to BP’s recent developments and acquisitions.
Regular C&I Retailing columnist Brett Barclay (Shoppertracker) will speak on current convenience trends with a focus on food service, while Howland Blackiston (principal, King Casey – USA) will draw upon his strong background in retail consultancy to deliver key information about that space. He currently serves a portfolio of clients in the retail and foodservice and restaurant fields, which includes Starbucks, McDonalds, Subway, Taco Bell and is a key proponent of King Casey’s COZI (Customer Operating Zone Improvement) strategic discipline and process.

In addition to the AACS Convenience Leaders Summit, the event will also host the Peter Jowett Convenience Industry Awards Judging and the AACS Gala Award Dinner, held at the Sydney Town Hall.
